In need of some peace and quiet?
Őrség National Park is a wonderful 44,000 hectare landscape coloured with forests and groves in Western Hungary. It’s where the Magyars who occupied the land installed watchposts to defend the western gate. This is where the region got the name Őrség, meaning “watchpost”. The Őrség is at its most beautiful in May, when visitors are greeted by fresh green forests and colourful meadows straight out of a fairy tale.
In the middle of this hilly area lies the Kerca Bio Farm, a 10-hectare horse farm in Kercaszomor famous for its gorgeous Andalusian horses. If you’re in need of some peace and quiet, this is the place for you. The place is also perfect for teambuilding programmes. You can try out your horse-riding skills, indulge in typical Hungarian delicacies prepared by the hosts, go for a bicycle tour. They even offer hot-air-baloon flights. The farm offers a stunning environment and top conditions for weddings and other special events. On the farm, they ensure food, drinks and accommodation for groups of up to 60 people.
