Karst has due to the natural and cultural values great potential for the development of congress tourism. It should be based on the specificities and comparative advantages of individual areas associated with a rich cultural heritage, cultural landscapes and preserved natural environment. As an integrated product is not yet developed at this time, it is more like a complement to the rest of the Slovenian congress destinations. For breakthrough, it is necessary to raise the visibility and competitiveness among congress organizers, which today are looking for exactly such an authentic space. We believe, that it will be recognized as a product with great potential by the main carrier of tourism Postojna cave.
