Serbian National Theatre - one of the Biggest Theatres in Serbia
The Serbian National Theatre is located in Novi Sad. It is one of the biggest theatres in Serbia. The current building was opened in 1981, while the SNT was founded in 1861 during a conference of the Serbian National Theatre Society, composed of members of the Serbian Reading Room (Srpska čitaonica), held in Novi Sad. It offers a lot of different plays – from drama, to opera and ballet.

The Theatre has 3 stages, that are available to hire as a venue. The first one Jovan Đorđević auditorium, that offers 935 seats (727 ground floor and 208 balcony seats). Then next one is Pera Dobrinović auditorium with a bit less seats – 373. The last and the smallest one is chamber scene with 118 seats.
