Istrian Assembly Hall - Host an Event in a Beautifully Crafted 19 century Town Hall
The Istrian Assembly Hall building in Poreč has changed it’s size and purpose throuout the years. At first it was a church and monastery, until the reign of Napoleon, when it was deconsecrated. Then after half a decade it was bought by Marquis Francesco Polesini, who devided the building into two floors. The first floor became the town hall, while the ground floor was turned into a wine cellar.
Today, the building is used as a venua for seminars, ceremonial sessions, art exhibitions and many other events. After years of neglect, the building that was once a wine cellar is available for visitors and is used as a venue for holding different events in the Assembly Hall.
