Bratislava-inline has been on Bratislava’s summer programme since 2004. Every month, starting in May, the streets and roads of Bratislava are, for one Friday evening, reserved for skaters, cyclists, scooter riders, longboarders, skateboarders and runners – young and old, single and couples, locals and foreigners. Everyone who likes to enjoy a night in Bratislava in a different way.
This special city sport event has been active for 16 years already, and every year it is gaining bigger popularity.
You will have the opportunity to skate on the carefully chosen roads that are normally crowded with cars and public transport vehicles. With the help of local authorities the different routs are chosen on every inline evening. For the safety of the participants there are police, medical personnel and the inline team at every event. The “Inline team” in reflective orange vests, manages the flow of the rollers, skaters and all the other participants and makes sure the event runs smoothly.
The event is organised by cross-city skaters and bikers. And for the event to be safe and joyful for everyone, the participants must follow some rules:
