The airport in Bratislava is among the best in eastern Europe. It was placed eighth in a prestigious survey of the best airports, the Skytrax – World Airport Awards 2019 in the category of the best airports in the region of eastern Europe.
It has not changed its position compared to last year’s listings, the survey showed. The results were announced on March 27 at the Passenger Terminal EXPO in London.
Bratislava airport is the only Slovak airport in the ranking. It scored better than Zagreb and Sofia. The first in the region was the airport in Budapest, followed by Tallinn and Kiev Boryspil.
The Skytrax World Airport Awards survey is the biggest world-wide survey monitoring the satisfaction of travellers with air transport. More than 14 million travellers participated.
