The traditional charity event, organized by the International Women’s Club of Bratislava (IWCB) again showed the true meaning of Christmas – gathering and doing good especially for those in need.
Organized in the Old Town hall, this charity event was again an opportunity for countries to introduce themselves to the local community. This year over 30 countries represented themselves. The hall was boasting colors, numerous international products, national costumes, delicious flavors and scents on the stalls that represented different countries. It was a perfect opportunity to find a bit unordinary gift ideas while contributing to a good cause.

In the past 26 years, the International Women’s Club of Bratislava (IWCB) Charity Christmas Bazaar has raised over €1 million, helping hundreds of charities across the country.
Besides raising money to provide financial assistance to selected, registered charity organizations in Slovakia the bazaar is also a perfect chance to promote a greater appreciation for different cultures.

This year, the total amount raised was record-breaking – 92.000 € was raised in one single day.
Which is admirable! The amount will be divided among non-profit organizations, and will certainly be spent for a good cause.
The event was organized solely by dedicated volunteers. And over 3000 people visited the bazaar, and over 50 silent auctions were executed.
