Sporto, the leading sports marketing and sponsorship conference in SEE that connects brands, rights holders, agencies, event organisers, athletes and students, was held between the 22nd and 23rd of November in Portorož, Slovenia. The conference has been a platform for brands, sports properties, agencies and the media to share ideas, experience and industry know-how already since 2004.

The leading event of its kind in SEE, presented together with the European Sponsorship Association (ESA) the SPORTO Awards in five categories rewarding the outstanding work in the field of sponsorship and marketing in sport. The competition was opened to applicants based in the Adriatic region (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia), Czech Republik, Slovakia or Hungary.
