The annual ECIS Conference is a major event for this community and this is the 32ndConference of a series of successful meetings, whose primary goal is to bring together all major disciplines of colloids and interfaces, enabling participants to exchange knowledge, communicate each other the results of their recent research, and to network with colleagues for new collaborations.
Topics will cover fundamental and applied for advances in the fields of interfaces, dispersed systems, wetting, complex fluids, micro-and nano-engineered materials, nanoparticles, ion specific effects, self-assembly of surfactants, polymers and proteins, and advances in theory and instrumentation. Plenary lectures will be given by the laureates of the Overbeek 2018 and Solvay 2018 Prizes and by four other eminent speakers. Furthermore, ECIS seeks to encourage the participation of young researchers and PhD students with awards dedicated to them for best oral and poster presentations.
